The breathtaking rainbow-mountains of Peru, also known as Vinicunca, are located in the area of the spectacular Ausangate mountain. The tour lasts 6 hours (3 hours each way).
After being picked up at your hotel, at 3.30 a.m., we drive through the southern valley to the andean village Hanchipacha for breakfast. Then we drive on to Quesimo 4,326 m to start our 3-hrs trek. On the way up, we enjoy beautiful mountain landscapes, alpacas and lamas and the amazing view on the snow-covered Ausangate, as well as red mountains and traditional andean houses. Our destination is at 5,020 m, optimal to take wonderful photos, explore the area. After an hour, we walk back towards Quesiuno to take the car to Hanchipacha for lunch and then back to Cusco.
