With the train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes is the easiest way to get to Machu Picchu. We leave Cusco early morning with a transfer to the train station Poroy, where a train takes you directly to Aguas Calientes, at the base of Machu Picchu. Already the ride with the train is impressive, driving through a green world. In Aguas Calientes, a bus brings you to the entrance of the Lost City. In a guided tour you see all important parts of Machu Picchu and depending on your entrance tickets, you might also visit Huayna Picchu or the Mountain Machu Picchu. In this one day trip to Machu Picchu, you will not miss anything. In the late afternoon, you will go back by train to Cusco and transferred to your hotel.
